Paul Mokrzycki

Paul Mokrzycki is a doctoral student in the History Department at the University of Iowa, where he studies the twentieth-century United States with specific research interests in political culture, conservatism, childhood, race, and gender. Mokrzycki earned his B.A. from Trinity University in San Antonio and his M.A. in history at the University of Alabama. His dissertation explores the missing children phenomenon of the late twentieth century and the ways in which it intersected with the “culture wars” and the conservative counterrevolution.
